Crazyhead

Requested Characters: Amy (Crazyhead), Raquel (Crazyhead), Suzanne (Crazyhead)

Crazyhead is a Channel 4 production with a single six episode season available on Netflix. The series is an irreverent comedy about demons, focused on three women in their late teens/early twenties, Amy, Raquel and Suzanne.
The main arc of the first season was completed but the season ended without resolving Suzanne's revenant problem and the final scene was obviously set up for a second season that never happened.

I've requested Amy. Raquel, and Suzanne as the characters I am most interested in a work focused on but would be equally happy with a work focused on any one or combination of them. I would be equally open to Amy/Raquel, Amy/Suzanne, Raquel/Suzanne, Amy/Raquel/Suzanne or any platonic variation thereof.

I loved the relationships between Suzanne, Amy and Raquel and the humour of the canon. I would love something looking at their lives after canon either taking a similar tone to the canon or leaning in to the horror of the premise. Suzanne being caught between death and life by Raquel ending the possession is ripe for horror or humour. A play on the kiss between Raquel and Amy that doesn't immediately no homo it would be also be cool.

Luminous Dead

Requested Characters: Em Arasgain (The Luminous Dead), Gyre Price (The Luminous Dead)

Luminous Dead is a standalone SF horror novel by Caitlin Starling with only two living characters, the caver, Gyre, and the controller, Em. There are other characters mentioned but they are only present as dead bodies, memories and video recordings and I would prefer they remained that way. Em/Gyre would be cool if it leans in to Em's manipulation and Gyre's understable lack of trust.

I really enjoyed the claustrophobic feeling of the suit and the cave. For me, the best parts of the book were the beginning when Gyre was certain that Em did not have her best interests in mind at all and when she was disconnected from Em and navigating the cave on her own. The hallucinations at camp five and Gyre's panic when she cut herself off from Em were really good. To me, Em's rescue of Gyre at the end was really frustrating, I would enjoy a take where Gyre meets a bad end.

I would love a take that goes hard on the cave as the threat or goes all out on Em as a villain. There were moments early on in the book where I wondered if Em was testing her suit to extremes that her customers would not to see how it performed.

Rivers of London - Ben Aaronovitch

While I have requested three characters I would be equally happy with a work focused any one or combination of these characters. I would prefer neither Nightingale nor Peter were present.

As someone who lives in London, I love how real the London of Rivers of London feels and how well the supernatural elements blend in with the mundane reality of the city. The worldbuilding of the series is probably the biggest draw to me. I would love to see this extended to Kimberly and Vanessa's home locations. I would enjoy something that explores the normal working days of Kimberly Reynolds or Vanessa Sommer or that looks at explores Sahra's form of magic.

Teixcalaan

While I have requested four characters I would be equally happy with a work focused any one or combination of these characters.
I found Teixicalaan and the barely below the surface fracturing far more interesting that Mahit or Lsel Station. Building off the events in canon, I would love to see Five Portico does with the imago that Mahit left with her explored. It would also be very interesting to see Three Seagrass's life and work pre-canon or Five Agate's work for Nineteen Adaze.

Wrackline

Requested Characters: Hare the witch enters (Wrackline), Witch who enters the hare (Wrackline)

Wrackline is a 2020 album by Fay Heild inspired by her work on the Modern Faries project. It can be listen to for free on spotify and her blog where she discusses the themes of the two songs I requested can be found here. I loved the imagery of the witch entering an existing hare rather than changing her body into that of a hare and the hare's feelings about being ridden by the witch and would love to see that explored further.
